Your responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work daily on the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of high-quality aircraft components. This position combines meticulous craftsmanship with technical challenges in a professional workshop environment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Repairing and overhauling complex components down to the smallest detail.
  • Performing tests and fault analyses using advanced measuring equipment.
  • Precision work such as polishing and machining small parts, shafts, and spring systems.
  • Collaborating with a close-knit team of specialists, each with their own expertise in electronics and mechanics.

Your work environment

You’ll be working in a modern, internationally oriented workshop at Schiphol, where quality, precision, and safety come first. This is where cockpit panels, communication units, and power control modules are maintained and repaired – keeping aircraft safely in the air.

Your skills

You have a sharp eye for detail and are used to working with extreme precision. Aviation experience is not required – your background in fine mechanics is more than enough to succeed here.

You bring:

  • A background in fine mechanics, instrument making, watchmaking, or a similar field.
  • Experience working on small, complex components with great accuracy.
  • Willingness to develop your skills towards the maintenance and repair of aircraft components.
  • Good command of English (Dutch is a plus).

  • Generous time off: 40 days annually (27 vacation days + 13 ADV days).
