Are you an experienced aerospace engineer with in-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and the authority to make final approval decisions? For a unique position within a leading aviation organisation, we are seeking a Senior Certification & Verification Engineer (CVE) who will act as the final approver towards EASA. Your responsibilities

As a Certification & Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing approved repair procedures aimed at reducing costs and preventing obsolescence of aircraft components
  • Preparing and approving certification reports
  • Monitoring new technologies and translating them into practical repair solutions
  • Verifying failure classifications in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations.

As a CVE, you hold final responsibility for the airworthiness of aircraft components. You develop certified repair solutions, prepare formal approval reports, and act as the final reviewer before release.

Your skills

  • Completed technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Aerospace Engineering
  • Relevant work experience, including at least 3–5 years in a role with airworthiness responsibility
  • Proven experience as a final approver (with formal sign-off authority)
  • In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations (Part-145 and Part-21)
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Independent thinker with a strong sense of responsibility

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,250 and €6,500, depending on experience
