Are you knowledgeable about printed circuit boards and electronics? Do you have excellent soldering skills and a keen interest in working on intricate electronic components (avionics) from airplanes? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Technician Avionics at Betaselect.
In this role, you will be responsible for repairing electronic units that are part of aircraft systems, including cockpit panels, navigation systems, multiplexers, power control units, and data and communication units. Upon receiving a unit, you will conduct a comprehensive test using automatic test equipment. Based on the results, you will repair the hardware at the component level, including both through-hole and surface-mount devices (SMD) printed circuit boards (PCBs). The technology ranges from the 1980s to the present.
To excel in these tasks, knowledge of measurement and control techniques, analog and digital electronics, various data buses, and software is advantageous. Familiarity with programming languages such as C++ or LabVIEW, IEEE, VXI, National Instruments, etc., is welcomed but not mandatory.
You will be part of a team of 16 specialists, working in a shop where regular training sessions and informative meetings are conducted to keep skills and knowledge up-to-date.
